Bear and Critters

My son asked me one time (at age 2), "Why I not hunting today, Daddy?" My response was, "Son, I ask myself that everyday I'm not hunting." We love to be out in the field hunting critters. It's a passion that we enjoy sharing with others. Our bear, grouse, varmint, and mountain lion hunts enable us to extend our hunting seasons into year long hunting excursions. Bear

Our spring and fall trophy black bear hunts are over baits. The majority of the bears come in later in the afternoon and evening so the mornings are spent looking for bears to spot and stalk and fishing for trout. This is a very laid back and relaxing hunt held out of our high mountain lodge. Due to our unpredictable weather and mortality quota this hunt needs to be on an on-call basis. Please call us with any questions regarding our on-call hunts.

Grouse

Untraditional bird hunting at its finest. We do not use dogs as the birds are plentiful but our country here is to big we have  too much ground to cover in a day. We instead use pickups and more of a spot and stalk technique to find the birds. It works very well for us but if you have your own dog and want to try a new bird with them please feel free to bring your pup.

Varmint

Prairie dogs and coyotes are plentiful in our part of the world. Summer is a wonderful time to be in Wyoming and with the addition of a new lease we have even more access to prairie dog towns. Coyotes are seldom hunted using calls on the ground we lease. This makes September through January an incredible time to be out.
